We as a company started as a lowly freewebs site in 2010 sharing free transcribed piano music. Back in those days, the scribes were drawing their own sheets, and visitors were few and far inbetween. We upgraded in 2014 to something a bit better, and this worked out for a while once we got the social media up and running, but still we weren't completely happy. So in 2015, we finally took the time and got the place looking the way we've always wanted. A sparkly new Notary with a new provider which we feel reflects the professionalism of our business.
Creation of a YouTube channel, for sharing piano music to the public.
We called the business The Notary and started social media, advertising and orders.
Start of the freewebs site, where we uploaded manually transcribed piano music.
New professional site with better content, features and layout. The start of a new era.
Here at The Notary, we only create the sheet music for unpublished music, but we aren't here to steal the thunder from those artists. So, we would ask that when official scores become available, you support composers by purchasing their sheets.
The Notary Team
We may have updated, but our process hasn't changed.
1) First we listen to your piece, get a feel for the music and learn it.
2) We sketch out a score draft as we're playing.
3) If we're happy with what we've got, we feed into notation software, polish it up and send it to you.
